ReplyDelete2. After reading the quote , based upon my experience this means that If I keep up my grades this year , sophomore year and junior and senior year . I will have luck to get a scholarship or something in return for what I have done .
4. The video and quote are similar because they both talk about luck and the significance of it . In the quote , it teaches us that if you do something good , something in return is going to be good . Same thing in the video if you work for something you will get it done . Also they differ by expressing the luck topic in a different way . At the end it gives a lesson .

Based on what happen in the video about eric thomas he said that you couldn't be on autopilot.
When you're on autopilot cruise mode is bad for you because mostly you're taking a quick break in life. Stop taking it smoothly and do it the right way.
How the video and the quote is similar by eric thomas is because there's probably other people who did it. They differ by don't the right thing and not the wrong thing. Staying on the right path the whole time.
When thomas says “i'm a great believer in luck, and find the harder I work the more I have of it. When you want to change a concept to your life you have to change what matter. Like you cant’ find luck because your not a leprechaun.
You don’t have to wear green to find luck you can make your own luck. Luck will proably happen if you can do it yourself. You can apply yourself to make your life more better.
You can apply the video to your daily life by doing what Eric Thomas said. By doing the right thing instead of dumb things. Luck are for leprechauns not for people.

4. The video and quote are similar because they are both about how luck works. The quote is about how hard work pays off with more luck brought upon you. The video talks about workingh hard to make the rest of your life the best that it can possibly be. However, the differ because one focuses on how luck actually works and the other is about how luck does not really count and effect everything. The quote focuses more on how Thomas Jefferson believed how luck comes from hard work and the video talks about getting your out of autopilot and how you can not sit back and wait for things to happen.
5. Ultimently this matters because it shows us that we can not just sit back and wait for good things to happen. Our dreams and goals are on overdrive and we do not have the time to waste to put our lives into autopilot. Eric Thompson states that we need to get out of cruise control and get in control of our lives. Luck is helpful, yes, but we can not just wait for luck to come around and find us. As the title of the video states, "Luck is for Leprechauns and you ain't Green."
There are multiple ways that I can apply this to my life to make it better. I can use it in my school work, things I need to do at home in my own personal life and basically in everything else I do. I can the procrastination on doing my homework because now I know that waiting for it to eventually happen is not the answer. I need to get my own life off of autopilot because it is holding me back from a lot things because I am justwaiting for the good thing to happen. I need to start being proactive.
Another way I can apply this to my life is by having the right attitude about things. A while ago I saw a this quote that said "Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it." I feel that this is very similar to what E.T was stating in the video. If I see a problem in a bad and negative way it is going to be a bad and negative thing. If I just start to see it in a positivive way then maybe it won't seem as bad as it actually is.

2.What the quote means is that if you work hard enough that you really want it you will get it more. Meaning you don't have to rely on luck you have to rely on yourself to work harder than you want it.
4.The video and quote are similar because they both talk about luck. That you can't rely on luck because luck doesn't exist. You have to work hard enough and you have to rely on yourself. Rely on yourself because its your dream to accomplish not anybody else's. They differ because they both do give different perspectives into what they are trying to tell you. They focus on different things but mean the same thing when trying to give you the message.
5.This matters because you ca't just be chilling like if you have auto pilot on your life and your not even doing nothing. You and only you have the power to control your dream. You can't have your life on auto pilot and have someone or something else do it for you cause once it fails your responsible for those a actions and you have to start all over on your dreams and life goals. You can't give up either. Don't quit and do't be on auto pilot cause if your not in control of what you are doing to achieve your life goals then what's the point in achieving something you can't handle yourself.
Be the bigger person and most likely be the person that's in control of your life goals. If you rely on luck you never going anywhere in life. This is really important because if you rely on something that can give up on you instantly then what good is that? If you let's say you are sick and you don't go to school and you missed two test, a pop quiz in biology and an essay in English, what are you gonna do ? You can't just be on auto pilot and let it slide cause you were not there. You can't just rely on luck and hope that a miracle would save you into not doing your work. Keep it real, be the bigger person and say you missed it and do it. If you rely on other things beside yourself where are you heading in life with that Have a right attitude, accomplish your goals and achieve whatever your shooting for.Cause if you won't, then who will ?

ReplyDelete2.) Based upon my experience, the quote said my Thomas Jefferson means that luck is just all a mental thing. In order to be 'lucky', you must work hard. What I mean by 'work hard' I mean, staying up all night to give your best, and work harder than you're capable of.

1) I believe in luck a lot,working for what I want just gets me to better places. Working for what you want makes you feel better.
2) Based on my experience this means working for what you want gets you further in life. If you just sit and wait you get no where in life. You can't sit around all day waiting for something to happen.

The video is different from the quote because the video is more inspiring. In my opinion, watching something is better than reading it. That's how the video and quote differ.

The only difference is that the video states luck does not exist while the quote states that when you work hard, you will have more luck. 1. Basically the harder you grind and the harder you work the closer you are to owning your goal and your dream. Doing nothing and being on auto-pilot won't get you anywhere and you wont be "lucky" at all. Losers lose and winners win.
2. Upon my experience, the meaning of this quote is in great value because I have many goals and dreams that I would like to accomplish ad live. This quote is telling me that in order to get "lucky" I must train and work hard for as long as I can breath. And doing so will be hard but therefore I'll be "lucky" and always have that motivation in believing myself.
4.The video and quote are similar because in the video it is saying that you have to take yourself off of auto-pilot and cruising and to get the most out of your life. And being on auto-pilot wouldn't match your goals and dreams. Have the right attitude and mind and you'll get "lucky". Believe in yourself and you'll get "lucky". However they also differ. In ways they differ are because of how the video is saying that it ain't about luck..you have to work for it and to not stop none-the-less.

This quote is saying that work will bring success and that it's your choice to believe if it's luck.
I believe this quote means that work will normally give you more luck. The reason for this is because the harder you work then the better you are so the better your "luck" will be.
The video and quote are slightly similar in my eyes. They're similar because both are saying that you can't wait for something good to happen or luck to find you. They're both saying to got off the couch and work hard so that you will have more "luck". These two quotes are different because one is just saying to work hard while the other is giving you ideas on how you can work and push yourself.
This is very important because it means do something with life. the reason that's important is because people like me aren't doing anything real only work the minimum and stop. People, like myself, need to stop stalling and do something. I cant keep saying things, I actually need to go for them. Both the video and quote are saying to work harder and harder in order to succeed.
I can apply this to my life by actually doing something. By shutting my mouth and showing what I want to do. I can apply this by doing what's necessary to get off auto pilot. Also this means that he believed in many things that gave him luck for everything.Also he was a man that was full of ideas and he had a big imagination.

ReplyDelete2) Base upon my experience, I think there is no luck whatsoever because this world isn't magical, it is reality. I need to work hard to get what I want in life. Yes, it is true what Thomas Jefferson said, the harder you work the more you have of it.
4)the video and the quote are similar because you need to give effort on the work that you do to get what you what. without struggle there is no progress. Take control of your life and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. they differ because the quote doesn't say anything about taking control of your life. They also differ because the video of Eric Thomas says that you need to have the right attitude for the work.
5)This matters because if don't work hard, you don't get what you what. it also matters because luck is nowhere to be found, you need to work hard. once you get what you what then hold on to it until you die. But you need to have a good attitude every single day, your actions defines who you are. this also matters, because you are wishing something good to happen to you but you're not physically doing it. meaning you are saying it but you are doing it. An example is that if you're wishing for good grades its not going to happen until you physically doing in it.
i will apply this to my life by working hard to get what i what. I need to have to right adittude for the work that I need to put in.if it were easy then everyone would do it.dont anyone stop me. I will push to my limit and let no one stop me.

1.In my own words this quote says that the harder you work the more luck you have.
2.To me this quote means luck is real.To me it also means that the more work you do the more luck you will have.
4.There are many ways the video and the quote are similar there is also a many y ways they are different.One way they are similar is because they both talk about working hard.One way they are different is because the quote says luck is real but the video says luck is not real.
5.Ultimately this matters for multiple reasons.One reason being because I think luck is not real and that you need to work for everything you want.The second reason being that I believe work leads to success.Final reason being that attitude is also important to success.

1.I think this quote is trying to say is that leprechauns are lucky because there leprechauns and we aren't. 2. This means to me like you have luck once in your life. It might come again but you gotta have a positive attitude. 4.They are the same because he's talking the same way as the quote is saying. A difference is that he was talking about attitude and blessing or lesson. Then he was talking about control your attitude. 5. To be a positive thinker and it can help you in life. It will change you attitude your personality and your life. In order to make this happen is to be positive. I am a positive person in baseball even in practice or games. It's good for you to be a good thinker because you'll. Be a leader and people will give you respect but there are hater's out. There and will try to make you negative. So stay positive and don't let nobody make you negative or change.

1. This quote means that there is no such thing as luck. It shows that you have to work hard to get what you want.
2. Based upon my experience, this means that I can't go anywhere in life with luck. You can't always trust luck because you need to work hard to get what you want in life. If you are waiting for luck to happen, you are basically not doing anything and sitting around waiting for something to happen when it might not.

4. The quote and video are similar because they are both talking about how you can't sit around and wait for "luck" to happen. It is telling us that the only way to succeed in life is to work hard. The quote and video differ because the video goes more into depth about how you are not doing anything. It shows us more examples and tells us what we are doing. It tells us that most of us are in cruise control meaning we are waiting for things to be done for us.
5. This matters because it is telling us that we cannot wait for luck to happen. There is a possibility that this luck could possibly never come to us. You can't wait for luck. Not only will you waste your time waiting, but you will also be wasting your time doing nothing with your life. Many opportunities could have flown right by you because you were waiting for luck. We do not have enough time in a day because when you think about it, school takes away about half of our day and so does sleep.
I can apply this to the concepts in my life to make it better by reminding myself what i can do. For example, if i didn't study for a test and i passed, that is not luck. You have learned it, and remembered it. If you learned it and remembered, that means you worked hard enough to pay attention in class. Another way i can apply this is applying it to sports. When you don't know how to do a certain trick, but you nail it when you do it, it is once again not luck. You should know that you have the capability to do those things.
Luck is something you can't wait for. If you want your life to change, then do it now. Think about karma. All that hard work you did to be able to do those certain things, have now payed off. Don't wait around for luck because it might never come. Those opportunities that you get might never come again too. Push yourself to be the best you can ever be. Even your luck can turn into something unlucky.

The quote says that if you work hard you will you will have luck, and the harder you work the more you have of it, and also knowing that you can do it even if you don't have the luck.
Based of my experience , this is important to me because it sends out a message that the harder you work you get luck and how you achieved your goal.
The video and quote are similar because, you can't wait for something to happen,you have to make sure you control your life and get out of cruise control.and if you guide your life it will happen.also they are different in one way because the quote is saying the harder you work the better luck you have, and the video is saying if you fail you get back up, and don't wait for it to happen.
This matter's because it's trying to say don't let a negative thing control your life, or get in the way of your life.And if you can guide your life it can happen, as long as you put in effort and stay on track you have a better view on controlling your own life.
I can apply it to my life to make it better by, always staying on track, never let nothing control my life.And if I don't do good at something I just have to keep trying until I get there.And if I guide my own life it can happen , because I have to control my attitude , because I will not have it right. and if I do not try or make it happen.

You can't have your life on auto pilot and have someone or something else do it for you cause once it fails your responsible for those a actions and you have to start all over on your dreams and life goals. You can't give up either. Don't quit and do't be on auto pilot cause if your not in control of what you are doing to achieve your life goals then what's the point in achieving something you can't handle yourself.
Be the bigger person and most likely be the person that's in control of your life goals. If you rely on luck you never going anywhere in life. This is really important because if you rely on something that can give up on you instantly then what good is that? If you let's say you are sick and you don't go to school and you missed two test, a pop quiz in biology and an essay in English, what are you gonna do ? You can't just be on auto pilot and let it slide cause you were not there. You can't just rely on luck and hope that a miracle would save you into not doing your work. Keep it real, be the bigger person and say you missed it and do it. If you rely on other things beside yourself where are you heading in life with that Have a right attitude, accomplish your goals and achieve whatever your shooting for.Cause if you won't, then who will ?
