Leadership Through Time:

2.) Making extreme decisions during tough times can bring out the best in people, but it doesn't work for everyone. Many things seem difficult because you make it seem difficult. You're the leader, if you decide to make something less complicated, it will be less complicated. Your decision is all that matters. Once again, some people preform much better when put under pressure, but it doesn't always work out for everyone. If people were given a situation and were put under pressure, they normally would either give their best, or give their worst.
ReplyDeleteFor example, if someone was pressured into buying something, they wouldn't have enough time to think it through. Sometimes, when people are put under pressure, they most likely won't be thinking right. When I joined band, I really wanted to play the alto saxophone. Although, when it was time to pick our instruments, I decided to pick the flute last minute. Once I got my hands on the flute and tried playing a note, at that moment I regretted choosing the flute.
3.) Crisis can both improve and detract from the decisions leaders make. Being under pressure can bring out the intelligence from some leaders. Although, pressure isn't always a blessing for other leaders. Pressure can lead to bad things like anxiety. It all depends on the leader, although in my opinion, being under pressure brings out the best in me, but I might have a small anxiety attack before starting my work.

1) DONE
2) If they were in a non crisis situation, I think that the leader would have more time to think what was going to happen, after they make a decision. When your under pressure you cant think. It depends on the person whether they work good under pressure or not. Sometimes you overthink things you need to make a decision. If you want make a difference then make a decision.
An example, is that when you are at the end of a test, stuck on the question. Others are finished. You feel that your sinking and you cant think straight because all you are focusing on is finishing. You then have to make a decision. This relates to me is so many different ways. I feel that I'm under pressure because everyone is staring at you or your wasting time. You should feel this at all. I start rushing on a test because I don't want to be stared at.
3)I think it improves because it affects everyone around them. It also improves because of were a tornado, automatically you alert everyone to get in a basement. It depends on the leader whether they work well under pressure or not. For me, I will have a moment to myself saying I can do it, and I get straight to business.I can be a lot of work but it is worth it.

2.During hard times it can be tough to make a decision.During those times either the best part of you comes out or the worst part comes out. It's hard for a leader to make a decision because they are not just thinking about they are thinking about the people there leading. If it is during a crisis it can be even harder for a leader to decide because of stress and time.So decision's can be hard make make for leaders.
An example of this is when a leader has to make a decision for a team and has to make that decision by the next day.A good leader would stay calm and and make that decision.A bad leader would crack under the pressure and make a bad decision. When a leader is chosen that leader needs to handle pressure. When a decision is made a leader has a lot of things to think about before a decision can be made.
3.During a crisis like war It is even harder to decide because of multiple factors.Like when peoples lives are in danger.A crisis can either bring out the best or worst parts of someone depending on the leader.

1.I think these decisions might have changed if they were non-crisis I think it will depend on the leaders choice. In my opinion the leader has to be a leader and decide what decision they make in their lives.Although it can be either a crisis, but that's why they need to make good decisions.
A leader may not have experience on what to decide but all it maters is for them to be a good leader to work as a team.Once they know what they decide on they can have less crisis on what other people think on what they decide on.
2.I think it depends on what the leader decides on doing in real life problems. It may compact on what they do for example if they panic then that's a problem.A true leader would have experience and would stay calmer and be strong on what they do.

2. During rough times it can be hard to make a decision, its hard when somebody is putting some pressure into you.Even the best days can become the worst days, making a decision just keeps you thinking about it because you have no idea about what you want to do. Nothing takes you the easy way a lot of things can be hard, your not the only person who goes through it. Everyone goes through really rough times.
One example can be when, a person puts pressure into you by making you do something you do not want to do, but you are to scared to make the decision you want to make but than they make you do it. You need to make the right decisions you do not want to be leaded into the wrong decisions just because someone is putting a lot of pressure into you, that is not right if you think about it, you need to stand up for yourself.
3. When it comes into war, you need to think fast and you need to think about the right decision you will make, peoples lives are in danger and you need to think about the right think and you need to think about your surroundings because a lot of things can happen over you making the wrong decision something wrong that you mess up on can mess everything up.

2. The decisions might have change if they were in a non-crisis situation by being better decisions. They would have actually had time to make good/right decisions. Furthermore, those bad decisions could have had a great impact in their lives meaning not a good one. Therefore, it would have changed their lives for the better. All in all, making the right decisions is always the better choice to make. Make decisions you want to make not what other people want you to make.
An example would be when you want to go to your dream college, but there are people around you who influence you to change your mind. Therefore, you end up going somewhere you do not want to go and has nothing in what you want to major in. That is where the impact comes in. You do not need to listen to other people. Do not let others make decisions for you, just follow your dreams. When you do make the right decisions, and everything will start falling into place and you will have reached your goals.
3. In my perspective, I think crisis detract from the decisions leaders make. I think this because when there are bad situations going on in your life, you get so stressed and end up making bad decisions. Decisions you wish can take back, but cannot. Therefore, I think that it can detract from the decisions because you are not in a clear sense of mind during that crisis.
2. When you are going through a lot of things, it can bring the best out of you because it is pushing you to be better. Sometimes when you are in a tough situation it doesn't cause you to want to push forward, it makes you want to stop because you feel it isn't worth it. The decisions would be different because without problems, you will feel relieved and not want to give up. Your decisions are based off of you and how you react in certain situations. Usually when you are under pressure, you make things happen, but some people break under pressure so it's different for all. For example when I was in the 6th grade and we had a fitness test at p.e, I was forced to do 24 push ups in front of the whole class and I am shy so when I was told I had to, I panicked, but I did them all and I got a good grade. I also believe if people weren't scared to do things, they wouldn't do it.
ReplyDelete3. I believe crisis can either better or make a decision worse because in some people's case, they may break under pressure and some people feel better under pressure so they can have a purpose to do it. When you do not have a crisis in a situation, you feel it is easy and you won't want to actually try because you know you don't have a problem. When you are in a crisis trying to solve a situation it can better your performance because you feel you are being pushed to do whatever you are trying to do. When I am under pressure i panic and lose focus. I also sometimes don't feed into it, I work up to full potential to get it done.

2. These things might have changed if they were non-crises situations because then, these leaders might have thought, "This isn't important." Humans tend to think if something is not important, they will do it later. We wait until the last minute to do what we need to do. If these leaders changed them into non-crises situations, they would have no fear or challenges to go through and experience how to fight through life. Life would be too easy to go through and would feel like the same routine you go through everyday.
For example, if we all passed our tests, and didn't worry about our grades, life would be a routine. You know that you are going to pass so then you will start giving up because you feel like you have lived life already. With challenges and situations that we face, it helps us stay alive. We don't always have to feel like we are going through the same routine because you can never expect what is going to happen. It helps you understand situations and know how to face them. Nothing can come easy in life, you need to work for it.
3. Crises can both improve and detract from the decisions that leaders make. Some people work better under pressure and some people don't. It can bring people many feelings like anxiety, frustration, and sadness. Others, can get intelligence out of them in a second if they are given a couple of seconds to think. If they are given more time to explore their options, their decisions could possibly change. If the decision is quick, many people regret what they did.
1) Watch video and Take notes.
ReplyDelete2) I think these decisions have changed people for the better and not for the worse. They understand how to go through difficult decisions and how to act. If you would like to make a difference you would need to make many decisions. Sometimes you don't act because you wan't everyone to accept you for you. Not everyone will accept you and people need to understand that. Making decisions on your own is for your own good and no one else's. You might lose friends but that's how life is.
Life will fly by really quick you will be sorry you didn't take the chances you had. Letting opportunities go by you , you will be unhappy I guarantee you. I don't think leaders would be where they are today without certain decisions. it doesn't matter what other people say about you, we all need to be positive on every situation. Holding back will get you no where in life. The more you blame other people for your mistakes, the worse you will feel.
3) In my opinion, crisis has a big impact on everyone's decision. Leaders need to see how they can control themselves under pressure. All they need to do is believe in everything they do. Some of them think they don't have control but they do. Not everyone in life will approve of you but all you need to do is block out the haters.

2. I think the extreme decisions that leader made in a crisis situation would have changed if it were to be a non-crisis situation. I think people act on certain things because it is making their lives harder and they had to do something about it. If the crisis was not as difficult to deal with I think the leader's decision would have most definitely changed. If the problem was a non-crisis situation I think that the leader would not have made such a drastic and extreme decision. I think that they would not have tried as hard as they did when it was an actual crisis.
An example of myself acting in a crisis situation vs a non-crisis is with school work and tests. There was a point last year when I was taking geometry. In geometry I had an 89% which was nearly an A- that I really wanted. Towards the last weeks of school I pushed hard and hard in order to bump me to that A. I studied for long nights and I asked my teacher if I could do some sort of extra credit nearly everyday for 2 weeks straight. eventually in the end she budged and bumped me to that 90&%, however if I were to be at a 90 or 91 already I don't believe I would have tried as hard in the end of the year. If it turned into a non-crisis situation I most likely would not have cared as much and from not giving my 100%, I would most likely result in a B at the end of the year.
3. I believe that crisis actually improves the value of work that leaders decide to make. I feel like if there is a crisis, most people are less likely to do something about it because they want to push it out of there minds because they are scared. Most people would would be too scared to do it because of past experiences that they might have had, prevents them from working through the mental block of acting upon their problems. It is the fear of loss and the fear of disappointment that holds people back. If a leader takes a stand and makes a decision in a tough situation I feel as if it does make a difference in its worth.

2. I think these decisions would have changed because they are probably different situations. They probably would have changed in non-crisis situations by not going think of the most extreme thing that they thought would be good but actually wasn't good at all. They would have to not fear failure or loss. They would have to not hold back and just do what they need to do.they need to not be procrastinating.
3. Yes crisis makes your decision different because you need to act at that exact moment obvious. You would most likely work through every little situation that comes your way.I think that you would have to make an effort in what your doing. You have to not have lack of self confidence. And give yourself a breather and do what you need to do .Realize that this is not just affecting you but others also.Know that you need to have determination and a non fear of failure to do right.

2. Once you make a decision , the universe conspires to make it happen but when you are not in the best place everything comes to you in a very hard way . All decisions , create a lot of anxiety , nervousness and mental torment because we don't take care of it . For a leader is even more responsibility because they can't back out because there is people watching you and they are right behind you . When you make a decision there is not always enough time so many times the results are not best . SOmetimes we don't decide not to decide .
For example , on a math test and the part where you get stuck and do not know what to do . It’s you either do not want to do the work or even know how to do the problem . As a leader to the class you then have to decide what to do exactly . You need to make a move and take risks sometimes . You can either guess or not even try and turn in the test like that . Whatever you decide it's good because you made a decision . Every decision counts because you made that move within a bad or good way .
3. When you are talking about decisions everything it different because it depends the situation. One thing for sure is that are pressured to do the right thing and it's always not like that . You do not have enough time but you just have to do it . It improves because you learn to what do the next time . If you do not have time make the decision and do it . Once you make it you are set to life . You need to be prepared on anything coming your way . You never know what's going to happen and you need to be able to make a decision .

2) if leaders had to make big decisions and went for them instead of hesitating I think it would have a big impact. it can go wrong or it can go good. It can change anything at one point. If they want to make a difference they should want it. If they want to make a difference they should make a difference to make the right decision. If it's like they want a raise but never decide into wanting to ask or not. if they make the decision into telling there boos, and the boss sees that they are working hard enough their boss will see and they would get the raise they deserve.
A change, a simple decision, a simple action or word can have a big impact into your life like asking for a simple raise or wanting something so you fight for it. Wanting something, you have to work for it and by working hard and making decisions and taking risks then you will know at the end of the day that it was worth it and that you have made the right decision. You will see that all that hard work payed off. You will see that if you want it you have to put your effort in and decide if this is what you really want to do. You have to decide because it's your life not nobody else's.
3) Crisis can either make you or break you. Depending on the the case and depending on how you do it can have a big decision. You can make the changes and have the differences. Consider and realize what you guys are doing to impact your life's.
2) Some decisions should not be made under difficult situations. But, if those great leaders didn't make those decisions under their circumstances, their life might've turned out differently. Everything happens for a reason. We are put in hard situations to show who we really are as a person. People are truly themselves when they are under pressure.
ReplyDeleteThese decisions might've been better or worse if they were made during non crisis situation. We will never truly know. All that matters is that those decisions made them who they are today. We need to take that as an example. We have to stop procrastinating and start making decisions for ourselves. It is our own life, nobody else.
3) Crisis can both improve and detract the decisions leaders make. Sometimes, time will help a person think more. It help them look into the details of situations. Time can also cause a person to think too much. Time can be a friend or an enemy depending on how you use it. When a leader has less time to think, they will go straight to their instincts. Sometimes, instincts and common sense wins over long hours of overthinking .
2.sometimes people say their going to do something they say it all the time but do you see them doing anything. they don't want to do what they said their going to do. if you really wanted to do it you would have took care of you business. people that want do something in life help other people that need help in life.
ReplyDelete3.leaders known what choice to make they just like to make bad choice it affects their life not ours they need to do better.
1.) Already did...
ReplyDelete2.) We all make choices or decisions, and once we make those decisions it follows us which would lead us to where we are now. When we don't make the decisions that we have to then it will end you up in a life that you might hate, we are all leaders and as leaders, we have to look after one another and take care of ourselves to be in good shape. However, if us "the leader" make a choice in a non-crisis situation, where would you end up? The answer is simple, if you make a choice in a non-crisis way, then you will still end up in the same place, it might sound confusing but it's quite simple, once you make the choice you're still in the same place with nothing new unless you do make a choice which does involve changing your life.
3.) Crisis doesn't quite matter so it basically improves. Don't have that much time.

2. I think the decision would be less extreme. During the crisis their panicking, scared, and trying to make the right decision. If it wasn't during a crisis they would have time to think and plan it out. They would be calm and be able to collect their thoughts other than being in panic during a crisis. their decision could be the same but then again it couldn't. For example, during a war. If they had time to plan everything it would be organized. Soldiers would be in their stations and ready for the enemy. Now if was during a crisis they may not be as organized. If a leader just says go fight without warning things may not turn out as well. There is a difference.
3. It detracts from the decisions leaders make. They don't have time to think and plan things out. They cant make the decision they really need to make cause they have to give it right then and there. But of course if they had more time they would be set to lead the way they want to lead.
1. Great leaders sometimes make bad decisions in life. People look up to the leaders and think there going to do something like stopping wars, and other stuff. They say there going to help cure cancer I don't see that happening right now.
ReplyDelete2. The Leaders say we are going to help people in the world. Translation they don't if they say there going to help people in the world. Than why are people getting shot in the neighborhoods like Compton, Inglewood, and other places. The Leaders of the world are hiding cures for cancer,HIV, and other stuff. IF Great Leaders say t the people that there's a war in America. Everybody would panic around america. I think that the decisions that great leaders blinds them to make.

2) the videos is saying that we make up things that we want to do it but we don't do it. if you wanna make a difference then you have to make a decision. and we want everybody to like us and we always let our parents to make a decision but we have to make our own decision. were gonna fail again and again but we gonna make our dream come true. lots of people wants a different life but we can we only have one.
3) living is hard because of all the things that's happening in life.we have to stand up for our self , were gonna take some time and were gonna get what we want later on because we work hard for it. and a leader with help people that are not doing that well in life, a leader he goes the right thing.we find our self things doing something but were busy doing things.
